Performance Notes
The arrangement was designed with an antiphonal ensemble in mind. There are two different scores in order to help conductors study the music. With this, conductors are allowed to have their performers be in score order, or the suggested antiphonal order below.
Antiphonal Performance
Trumpet 1 (C Part Recommended)
Trumpet 3 (Only Bb Part)
Flugelhorn 1
Flugelhorn 2
Trumpet 4 (Only Bb Part)
Trumpet 2 (C Part Recommended)
For an easier performance in fingerings, and for a slight change of timbres, Trumpets 1 and 2 are recommended to use a C Trumpet to perform this arrangement. However, a Bb part is also included. To keep all of the instruments in the same key, the score only features Trumpet in Bb for Tpt. 1 and 2.
