Inferno |
for Young Concert Band

Inferno is an energetic dance inspired by the genre of Fire Dancing. The piece features a large set of percussionist (although there are only four percussionists required to play the work), hefty low winds/brass melody, and rhythmic clapping from the whole ensemble. This piece is perfect to build up student’s rhythmic understandings.
This work is designed to be playable for a flexible sized ensemble. While it is preferable to be performed by a large number of performers, All the parts are heavily doubled to accommodate for missing members of the ensemble.
The required percussionist are:
Timpani, Mallets 2 (Xylophone), High Drum (Snare Drum or Tenor Drum), Bass Drum.
